Tri-Color LED RGB LED Red/Green/Blue

This super bright tri-color LED has red,green and blue LEDs housed in a 5mm epoxy package.It has 4 leads,common Cathode or common Anode is available.
Tri-color LEDs are components with four electrical leads (three colors and one ground) that emit red, green and blue light according to the current supplied to the three color leads. Since red, green and blue light can be combined, in various proportions, to appear to the human eye as any color, varying the three voltages applied to the tri-color LED leads can cause light to emitted at any color.
Tri-color LEDs (RGB LEDs) find application in any context where the color of light emitted must be readily changed. For example, discreetly stepped colors could be used to indicate the status of an electronic device or continuously varied colors could be applied to aesthetic effect by varying the three input voltages sinusoidally. RGB LEDs can also be employed in pixel-matrix RGB displays where separate red, green and blue diodes can not be packed densely enough.
